Worship is the ultimately the very end of man. This is the reason for his creation.... When God made man he made him a spirit .. John 4:24 says that God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. The Bible starts with worship and ends with worship. In the garden of Eden The Lord came to fellowship with Adam and Eve in the cool of the day. John's Revelation ends with a scene in heaven of worship to the Ancient of days.
